Bolster local businesses, improve the earning ability of our young adults, and ease the affordable housing crisis through smart business, City, and County partnerships for vocational training and responsible development.

Fight Homelessness with 360° Partnerships

Build comprehensive partnerships between neighbors, businesses, service providers, transportation, and affordable housing pathways to create a 360-degree community-supported approach to bring our neighbors in out of the cold.

Reconnect North East
Fort Collins

Reconnect the neighborhoods in North East FoCo with sidewalks, paths, and bike lanes through policy changes and smart collaboration between the City and the County. Improve cell phone connectivity throughout the City as a critical safety measure.

Prioritize Equity and Representation

Work for equity and representation through community connection and outreach, creation of a multicultural resource center, built-in interpretation services for every City service, affordable housing, and pathways to keep our best and brightest talent in Fort Collins.

Expand Environmental Stewardship

Expand FoCo’s legacy of environmental stewardship by connecting conservation incentive programs to utility partners like East Larimer County and Fort Collins Loveland Water District and expanding greywater policy initiatives. Work to ensure that the Poudre River, our open spaces, and natural areas are protected for generations to come.

We can work together for a brighter future for Fort Collins, making sure our neighborhoods are more walkable and usable, ensuring responsible development is paired with responsible infrastructure, collaborating creatively on the complex, but solvable affordable housing crisis, steward the success of our local economy by supporting both traditional businesses and creative businesses, and expanding common-sense efforts to conserve our natural resources for generations to come.

Where is District 1?

Roughly: everything east of College and north of Drake.

District 1 is truly massive. It spans an area from Douglas Road to Drake, College to I-25 and beyond. Making things more complicated, there are large areas that are not “inside” City limits, but rather in Fort Collins’ growth management area.
